WHAT IS WORM COMPOSTING?
Vermicomposting is the process of composting using worms to create a mixture of decomposing food waste, bedding material, and vermicast. Vermicast or worm castings is the end-product of the breakdown of organic matter by a worm. These castings are biologically safe, contain no pathogens, and contain enzymes that are essential to soil health. Adding this type of fertilizer can increase your garden’s yield tremendously.
